The labor clay at work Here are some elements of the techniques on the different phases of work used for the development of ceramic sculptures. A little more detail for each of the phases by clicking on the corresponding text. Preparing for Work My work is prepared and carried out mainly in my workshop, in Saint Julien du Grand Serre in the north of the Drôme. Ebauchage The e-deping is most often done in front of a living model. First Shaping The draft then joins my workshop for the start of the shaping Dump Almost all my sculptures have to be emptied in order to be able to go into the oven. End of Shaping The dump leads to deformations and requires a resumption of shaping. When the sculpture is finished shaping, it's time to sign... Drying Then comes a long drying period. Passage to the Oven Then cooking at Very High Temperature in my gas oven. Finishing When the sculpture comes out of the oven, there is almost nothing more to do. Just a few details... Exhibition And finally the exhibition and storage of the finished sculptures in the window above my workshop.
