Emptying

My sculpture are generally rather big, and necessitate to be emptied before drying and firing.

Otherwise, they would surely expode in the kiln during the firing.

This process often need a lot of time, because each part of the sculpture dries and get the right consistency at its own speed, and it has to be delt with at the proper time.

Consequently, I usually work on several sculptures in parallel for weeks.
